I bought this book last week, and taught it this week. I find it an invaluable way to get great information about jobs to students. I love the lessons - so did the students - and really loved the graphic novel format.
I bought this book for my 19 year old cousin who doesn't know what to do for his life. I figured this would at least give him a little direction in a form he can appreciate - I like manga as well (being in the younger generation and all). The reviews I read on this book and author were promising and the price was just right for a just out of college student's budget. I'd like to read this just to see what tidbits the author has - I may have to buy one for myself.
I gifted this book to several of my friends with teenage kids but it's also a great read for any age and anyone despite where they are in their careers. I wanted to buy this for my nephew in college who doesn't know what he wants to do but I figured I better buy a copy for myself first--glad I did. I read it and loved it and so did my nephew. It reminds you in a fun way what is really important and how we can sharpen our skills and focus in what we do. Buy it, read it, and pass it on.
Its easy and nice to read, specially for people like me (i.e. I Liked this book for many reasons. Mainly;1. who don't like to read) it will be a good start for them.2. This book is recommended for students who are planning to select their work carrer and who hate their work and feedup of their current job and want to know what to do.Highly recommended even for pleasure/fun reading.
I loved this book, and my teenaged son loved it, as well. Excellent work -- highlighting important questions to ask yourself when choosing a career, or to ask at any career stage to know whether you're on track to achieve your goals. The comic book style presentation makes it an especially fun read.
